Serious side of me I've always wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember. Although, I had to take a few detours along the way, I've found my way back to the writing I love. The last few years have been hard for me and my family, but I've learned so much from it. I'm a stronger person now and believe everything happens for a reason. Regardless of how much it may hurt. I live in Alabama. When I'm not tending to my family's needs, cleaning, or organizing the house, I escape in the books I love to create and read. I hope to continue to bring joy to those who will some day get lost within the pages of my books. Just as I do when I read. Books have a way of healing and Lord knows how many times they have saved me in my times of need. I've also learned that friends are forever. One of many things I love about being a writer is the fact that I'm always meeting new people and learning the craft. I wouldn't trade this for anything else in the world. What its like being a writer with a house full of kids It's crazy and fun and I love it! HAHA! No, really. I love the fact that I can get up and never have to really get dressed. Yes, this could be a bad thing as well. Like if someone shows up at the door and I'm still in my PJ's, oh well. I'm sure it will not be the first or last time that happens. I just have to sniff to make sure I smell okay. Yep, still good. Then I open the door. LOL. Some days are better than others, but hey that's life. Its loud with lots of things going on. Would I change it? Never. Support I have to say that I'm one of the lucky ones. I have a wonderful support system. My family are top notch and behind me all the way. It doesn't get much better than that. My wonderful partner is not only a best friend, but a great plotting buddy. We can sit for hours talking about what I'm working on and he has given me so many ideas along the way. I couldn't do any of this without him. Thank you, Baby! |
